CHIEF ENGINEER ENGINE ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT


Multinational Company headquartered in Northern Italy (Modena – Reggio Emilia area ) leader in the Automotive field - is searching for a

CHIEF ENGINEER ENGINE ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT  

The candidate – graduate in Engineering -  provides technical leadership for all the projects/programs involving the development of ECUs; he/ she will be the primary technical interface, for ECUs, inside R&D Central Department, and towards clients and prospects.

He leads technical reviews (design to cost, design for assembly, …), he defines and freezes technical requirements for product development, acting as the sole link of all the players involved in product/system definition.

His / her tasks include also finalizing and maintaining DFMEA; leading the Design review and supporting Testing, Validation & Documentation Divisions to define ECU Validation Plan.

He also writes, freezes and maintains technical specifications; he supervises and approves all technical drawings, defining, checking and maintaining components/system BOM and supporting the generation of technical papers.

He’s also able to perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for budget/RDA for assigned project and he/she will support Proto management  in cohoperation con other teams - Purchasing, Workshop, Validation…

He/She’s willing to travel abroad and must speak English and Italian fluently. The ideal candidate is a continuous improvement oriented person, with team working attitude and ability to co-operate with other company functions. We are looking for candidates with strong competencies in leadership, strategic thinking, analytical skills and problem solving attitude.

The candidate must live or will be able to relocate in Modena or Reggio Emilia areas.
